This is a sold wood foundation constructed and made by Posh & Lavish. This foundation comes wrapped in the same luxurious fabric as all Posh & Lavish mattresses to be able to match the design of the bed. It also provides the REQUIRED support to hold and support the Posh & Lavish mattresses.
The Posh & Lavish foundation is made from solid spruce wood. It is not a composite material so it does not contain formaldehyde. There are 14 slats in a foundation and is ideal for the weight of a latex mattress. Each slat is approximately 2 3/8″ wide and the slats are approximately 2 3/4″ apart. The foundations are made in the United States. The high profile foundation is 9″. The low profile foundation is 5″.
